Thierry Henry Launches 'Impact Art'

Thierry poses with the very 1st impact art

The Impact Art initiative kicked off on Thursday 21st September at Arsenal's new Emirates Stadium, as part of Arsenal's commitment to the Willow Foundation as their 'charity of the season' for the 2006/2007 campaign.

Thierry created a fantastic piece of artwork in front of crowd of press and in the company of Willow's founder's Bob & Megs Wilson.

Speaking ahead of the launch, Arsenal's captain said "Its great to be involved in the launch of Impact Art. It's an innovative way to raise awareness and ultimately raise funds for our Charity of the Season. It's something a little different and I'm delighted to take part today. I hope other sports people will join in and help raise funds for such a worthwhile cause."

50 Limited Edition Prints of Thierry's picture will be produced and details will be posted in the GALLERY section as soon as available.
